Description
The Zachęta National Gallery of Art is a contemporary art museum in Warsaw. Works are mostly from Polish artists (including some from the 20th century such as A. Szapocznikow, T. Kantor, and H. Stażewski) and span different media such as video, paintings, sculptures and installations. There are also temporary exhibitions that often display works from well-known foreign artists. The museum is housed in the Neo-Renaissance Zachęta building.
Access & Transport
The museum is located in the city centre, immediately south of the Saxon Garden. There are bus stops on Królewska and Plac Małachowskiego, right next to the building, and the 'Królewska' tram stop is a 5 mins walk away. Accessibility info: https://zacheta.art.pl/en/wizyta/dostepnosc
